Partner Visa Application fee rising on 1 Jan 2015
The Australian Government has announced a significant increase in the fee for an Australian Partner Visa.If you are planning to apply for a partner visa, you should consider lodging before 1 January 2015.
The change was revealed as part of the mid-year budget review and will see applicants paying 50 per cent more for partner visa application fees. Provisional and partner visas, prospective marriage visas as well as temporary and permanent partner visas will all be affected.
We have contacted existing clients to warn them of this change and wherever possible we will lodge applications before the end of the year to avoid the increase. We will also be working right up to the 31st December with new applicants to lodge their application before the deadline.
